Trade Unions / ACTION
Your union needs YOU!

Whatever kind of work you do, and however you do it, there’s nearly always a trade union that would welcome you as a member. Even if there’s no specific union for your trade, most ‘general’ unions have sections covering a wide range of different occupations; there are now said to be upwards of 20,000 of them.

National trade-union centres
Look for a union that’s affiliated to a national ‘centre’. That usually means it must stick to some basic principles of solidarity.
