Come along and find out mayoral candidates' long term view for Otautahi-Christchurch and how they see their responsibilities to future generations.

The Local Government Act 2002 makes it clear that:
The purpose of local government is ... to enable democratic local decision-making and ... to promote the social, economic, environmental, and cultural well-being of communities, in the present and for the future ... taking a sustainable development approach.
