Asylum in the UK: Destitution, detention, deportation?

Those of you who live near Malvern should add a date to your diary: on 26th October Amnesty International's Malvern Hills Group are hosting a public forum on Asylum in the UK. Speakers include Kate Allen (Director, Amnesty UK), Steve Symonds (Legal Officer at the Immigration Law Practitioners' Association and Dr Juliet Cohen (Joint head of Medical Services at the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture).
