Moral Maze: Population control

For its episode in the first week of November, BBC Radio 4 invited New Internationalist editor Hazel Healy to appear on its show ‘Moral Maze’. Responding to news of the global population rapidly approaching 7.5 billion people, the show explored population control and asked controversial questions, including ‘is it our moral duty to have fewer children?’
Hazel was asked whether we should care as much about refugees and those in other parts of the world as we do our nearest and dearest.
