Analysis

The Analysis section gives a thoughtful, in-depth treatment to specific topics, with contributions from highly respected writers and thinkers from around the world. As well as a main feature, with several articles providing a comprehensive look at a world issue, it normally contains a number of additional special features

Argument

Every issue we invite two experts to debate a hot button issue, and then invite you to join the conversation online, reading all your comments and selecting the best to print next issue.

Arts

An expanded Arts section features reviews of international music, books, film and performance, and special features on the world of the arts.

Alternatives

The upbeat Alternatives section highlights success stories and hopefully helps us all to live more lightly on the earth.

Agenda

Important upcoming global events are highlighted in the forward-looking Agenda section.

Action

The Action section carries campaign news, provides detailed events listings for the upcoming month so that everyone can get involved.

Regular Features

In addition to the above, every issue includes a bevy of regular features. These include our popular monthly country profile, an interview with a famous figure, puzzles, profiles, letters, and columns from Cairo and America.
