Sima Samar is a brave politician who has experience at the heart of Afghan politics - how comes we don't get to hear more from her? Well done on the journo for nabbing her!! Samar is absolutely right that women must be educated in order to secure a healthy society. She didn't have anything new or creative to say about the drugs issue, but I guess her specialism is women and equality which she talks eloquently about. Interesting overview of the situation in Afghan from an informed politician. |
