| Visitor Info: | I come from a performance/creative arts background but have also undertaken development studies at undergraduate and graduate levels. I am an ethical vegan for animal welfare, ecological and health reasons. I have studied gender and discourse theory and am particularly interested in how patriarchal/masculinist frameworks eg economic rationalism/globalisation restrict issues being made visible, including ecological reality. I particularly like the idea of 'voices' that is prominent in New Internationalist - there is more than one way, but economic rationalism and globalisation has made hegemony pervasive. |
