A closer look at coffee

From the plant to the cup

Coffee farmer Gregorio Gomez & NI journalist David Ransom follow the coffee from a farm in Peru to shops in England:

Our journey starts in Peru where NI journalist David Ransom meets coffee farmer Gregorio Gomez. David and Gregorio visit a coffee farm high in the mountains of Peru. We learn how coffee is grown and picked, and how it gets from the growers by mule, and by truck to ports for shipment around the world. We follow the coffee to England and we also look at the effects of coffee growing on the environment.
