'The book has started a mini revolution in our kitchen - my seven year-old son read it cover to cover twice and then started picking out things he wanted to try. Yesterday he wanted the Russian salad and announced that it was the most delicious tea he'd ever had. This child is one of the pickiest eaters you could imagine and has never agreed to even taste a chickpea or a cooked carrot, so it was great - and now he wants Jollof rice with kidney beans, something else he's always refused to try. He loves the fact that all the meat dishes suggest a veggie alternative, having declared himself veggie a couple of years ago. He wants to cook tea with me one evening a week choosing a recipe from the book! Happy mummy.' - Jo Wilding, barrister and author of Don't Shoot the Clowns.
'A definite must-have for any classroom and kitchen shelf!' - Amazon 5-Star Customer Review.
