With so many species under threat from climate change and environmental degradation, this calendar aims to spread awareness further afield than just the cute cuddly mammals shown in most wildlife calendars.
There are several endangered species calendars already in existence, but all concentrate on cute mammals with other vertebrates occasionally getting a look in. But these account for a small proportion of the 1.6 million species (not including bacteria and fungi) in the natural world. With so many species under threat from climate change and environmental degradation, this calendar aims to spread awareness further afield.
The aim of this calendar is to involve environmental NGOs and conservation groups, so that they can provide images and information for inclusion. Outstanding photographs combine with facts and conservation information to illustrate how much is at stake in our world and theirs.
